The available Ford Co-Pilot360 driver-assist technologies keep you connected and confident on the road, from the driveway to the highway. If something is in front of you while your vehicle is in Drive and traveling slowly, forward sensors will produce a high-pitched beeping tone. As you get closer to an object, the beeps get faster, and within 12 inches, they create a solid tone. When you put your vehicle in Park or Neutral, the sensors turn off. The Reverse Sensing System uses sensors in the back bumper in the same way.

When towing is required, the Transit Connect provides a towing capacity of up to 2,000 pounds when fitted with the Trailer Tow Prep Package. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), which comes standard on all Transit Connect Passenger Wagon models, monitors the amount of air pressure in each tire and illuminates a warning light on the cluster screen if the pressure in any of your tires falls below the recommended tire inflation level.
